It’s show number two for ‘Duets’ and they seem ready to keep the heat pumping. Kelly Clarkson and Robin Thicke kicked off the show with an energetic judges’ performance of the Jacksons’ ‘State of Shock’ which originally featured Michael Jackson.

The tribute to one of the world’s greatest performers was a fantastic way to start the show. The song is a powerful and rousing duet and their voices worked well together to fill out the sound. The two of them also perform well together and manage to fill the stage with hotness. It made us miss the days of Michael Jackson blending voices with other great talents.

While Clarkson and Thicke performed, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland and John Legend had the privilege of front row seats in the Superstar Lounges. They were just as into the performance as the two on stage. It’s obvious that all four of the judges are having a great time with this. And, we can only hope we are treated to more judges’ performances throughout the season. Especially if they’re all as hot as this one was.
