Even though she boasts a catalog of hits as impressive as that of any current pop singer, Kelly Clarkson loves putting her own spin on other artists' material. During a stop in Hammond, Indiana, Clarkson played a subdued version of Paramore's hit 'The Only Exception.'

Accompanied primarily by violin, Clarkson delivered a spot-on cover of the rock ballad, which remains Paramore's biggest hit to date. Clarkson's rendition included a killer final chorus where she raised the key and showed off those American Idol-winning pipes. Beautiful!

At other recent concerts, Clarkson has covered Coldplay's 'Fix You,' Cee Lo Green's 'Forget You,' Demi Lovato's 'Skyscraper,' Whitney Houston's 'Exhale (Shoop Shoop),' Madonna's 'Crazy for You,' Pat Benatar's 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot,' and even the White Stripes' 'Seven Nation Army.'

Who will Kelly cover next? Her current headlining tour stops in Sioux Falls, South Dakota tonight and keeps rolling through mid-April.
