Stationed in New Zealand in June 2012, Lady Gaga took a minute -- okay, more like five minutes -- to indirectly respond to Madonna's repeated disses of her. She used the drama as a springboard to tell her fans to continue dreaming and doing what they do, despite opposing forces trying to take them out. She was speaking on two levels. It wasn't hard to read between the lines.

She also made one of her most poignant statements of this leg of the tour, saying, "You can never invalidate the power of 'Born This Way.'" Her monologue was nearly tearful and another way to strengthen the connective tissue between herself and her little monsters. She thanked them for making her feel like a "bad--- and a winner" and declared she wanted to be their friend, as opposed to their queen.

She then delivered a haunting rendition of 'Hair,' a song reflective of all the things she mused about beforehand, while glittering in black and seated at her moto-piano.
