The elusive Lauryn Hill purposefully dropped off pop music's radar after her groundbreaking solo effort, 1998's 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.'

She may have stopped making music and performing in public until very recently, but there is one thing Hill continued to do and that's populate a brood of kids with longtime love Rohan Marley, who is in fact the son of reggae legend Bob Marley. The incredibly fertile Hill announced on Saturday, while performing in Detroit, that she is indeed pregnant with her sixth child!

Hill and Marley are already parents to five children, who could serve as the backing band that finally drags Hill out of semi-retirement and back into full-time, as opposed to sporadic, performing.

Hill, 36, told the crowd, "I'm going to be taking time off to give birth." UsWeekly reported that Hill, who has slowly but surely returned to performing live, hinted at having a bun on the oven again at her L.A. show in April. "I keep having these children. I don't know if I'm the most fertile woman in America," she said. "I've got five big children, you believe that? If you ask anybody I went to high school with, they'd be puzzled. Wait till you hear the big secret, though."
