Miley Cyrus Breaks Up With Twitter, But Not With Liam Hemsworth

Despite being spotted out with her engagement ring on, Miley Cyrus is still being plagued with rumors of a split from Liam Hemsworth -- and she's finally speaking out about them.

After Hemsworth was allegedly caught flirting with and possibly smooching ‘Mad Men’ January Jones at an Oscars party, tales of a rift with the 'Party in the U.S.A.' singer got louder and more detailed. The reasoning behind their issues seems to lie a bit with Cyrus' schedule, hard partying and haircut.

“Liam and Miley are done,” a source told Us Weekly (via Radar Online). “Miley put her career on hold to spend all her time on Liam. Now that she’s back recording her fourth album, he’s not happy," the source added. "She says she’s over it.”

Cyrus' seeming hunger for attention and rebellion without a cause are also getting to the 'Hunger Games' actor, who isn't as enthusiastic about Cyrus' drastic image change as she is. The source explained, “Liam fell in love with how free spirited she is, but now he’s struggling to understand this transformation.”

Still, it's not all doom and gloom.  PEOPLE reports, "Miley and Liam have had some problems that they are working through. Miley doesn't think it's a big deal. She loves Liam and can't wait to marry him."

Cyrus herself has denied any relationship drama, taking to Twitter to dispel the stories -- and then taking a Twitter hiatus ... but interestingly, for as much as she hates social media, she updated her Twitter not just in one fell swoop, but over the course of several hours. The lady doth protest too much?
