Lil Wayne Cancels Las Vegas Show After Suffering Seizures
After suffering a number of seizures on Sunday night (September 3), Lil Wayne is now resting in a Chicago hospital, TMZ reports.
Lil Wayne, who has epilepsy, also had to cancel his concert at the Drais Beachclub in Las Vegas due to doctor's orders get lots of rest.
“Lil Wayne and the entire Young Money / Maverick team are valued partners and members of the Drai's LIVE family,” the party promoters said on social media. “Our priority is the health and well-being of our artists. Everyone at Drai's wishes Lil Wayne a speedy recovery during this time.”
T.I. ended up stepping in last night to perform in the 34-year-old rapper's absence.
Wayne's health has been up and down over the past few years. In June 2016, he went to he hospital for "two minor seizures" before an appearance at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles. And Weezy also ended up in the intensive care unit in 2013.
“The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself. That’s just typical me though,” he explain in an interview.
