One would be right to question whether or not Lil Wayne's protege Nicki Minaj would be making an appearance on his new mixtape 'Dedication 4,' set to be released next week. Well, you'd be right! And get this, the Lil Wayne even gave Minaj control of her freestyle on the mixtape. What a sport!

"He's working on the mixtape and I said, 'Excuse me, I need to be on that mixtape,' and he said, 'Aight, whatever you wanna do.' So I just went into the other room and recorded on this particular beat that I'm sure my fans are gonna be very happy that I touched," the Harajuku Barbie said to MTV News. "I'm really excited for the kids to hear."

And even though Lil Wayne was the reason why she was pulled from the Summer Jam concert earlier this summer, to the dismay of thousands of fans, Minaj admitted that she missed his "hands-on control" of things. "It's like having a strict parent, and when you no longer have it [you] kinda want that," she said. "I told him, 'I miss when you would lecture me and tell me to keep on my grind and do this do and do that — where's the love?'"

Mixtape aside, all your Barbz better be bracing yourselves for what Minaj has in store for you. Despite releasing her second album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' in April, she has plans to release another somethin'-somethin' before 2012 comes to an end. "I'm releasing something before the year is out," she said, sadly refusing to give any other details to us Barbz in waiting.
