Country music might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Kelly Clarkson, but for a pop star, she's got a pretty decent set of country bona fides -- including her hit duet with Jason Aldean, 'Don't You Wanna Stay.' And she's making a bid for a return to the country charts with a new remix of her recent single 'Mr. Know It All.'

The track comes from Kelly's latest album, 'Stronger,' which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts when it was released last October and has since gone on to sell more than 600,000 copies. 'Mr. Know It All' was a top 10 hit during its run on the pop charts last year, and the follow-up single, 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You),' became Clarkson's third No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100.

Given the amount of airplay 'Know It All' received during its first release -- as well as the fact that a third single, 'Dark Side,' will be hitting the charts soon -- it seems a little curious that Clarkson's label is releasing a country remix now. But Kelly enjoyed making it, as she told her followers when she tweeted that she "had a lot of fun recutting the song and getting the opportunity to work with" producer Dann Huff.

Listen to a leaked version of the 'Mr. Know It All' country remix, and look for Kelly on ABC this summer when she makes her debut as one of the judges on the new singing competition series 'Duets.'
