Last night, Oct. 8, the life and career of Michael Jackson was honored at the Michael Forever Tribute Concert. The concert was held in Wales, and 50,000 fans joined Jackson's family members and fellow recording artists to help memorialize the singer and the huge impact he made on music.

Michael Jackson's children were present, and the trio -- Prince, Paris and Blanket -- took to the stage to introduce a special telecast performance from Beyonce, who sang Jackson's 'I Wanna Be Where You Are' (via People). The elder Jackson kids wore leather jackets that looked like the costumes Jackson wore for his 'Bad' and 'Thriller' videos. 13-year-old Paris told the audience, "We're very happy to be here on this special night to honor our father."

Aside from Beyonce, stars like Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo and British singer Pixie Lott performed at the show. Michael's sister LaToya Jackson also performed at the show, as did some of Michael Jackson's brothers/former Jackson 5 band mates. Actor and sometimes singer Jamie Foxx hosted the event, and the celeb also sang a few MJ tunes.

Ne-Yo spoke to the press about the controversy surrounding the fact that these stars and family members wanted to hold the tribute concert during the same time that the manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray is taking place. "It's not about the trial. It's not about his death. It's about celebrating his life. It's about celebrating his music," Ne-Yo said.
