Miley Cyrus Goes Shorter + Lighter With Her Hair
Cyrus shared the handiwork of her fabulously talented stylist, Chris McMillan, via Twitter. McMillan also works with Jennifer Aniston, largely regarded as the owner of the best head o' hair in Hollywood, so Miss Miley Ray was in good hands and had nothing to worry about as she got rid of length and went lighter. Those can be scary changes for a starlet, but Miley looks amazeballs.
Cyrus tweeted shots of McMillan in action, hands in her hair, sculpting her flaxen locks. The shaggy texture looks absolutely terrif on the bride-to-be, who will also grace the cover of the September issue of women's mag Marie Claire. The brighter tone also looks good on her; she had been rocking a honeyed, light brown shade recently, but she is so gorgeous that she can get away with a white hot hue and not look washed out.
McMillan also tweeted a shot of Miley with her new locks piled atop her head, jokingly posting: "Whew. Still fits in bun." So he was relieved that he didn't chop too much of Miley's length and she can still do things like throw it in her signature top knot. It's a versatile style and we can't have an A-lister and fashionista like Miley rocking a singular, boring style on red carpets over and over. She needs to stay ahead of trends. Anything less would be uncivilized.
The singer/actress/ fiancée of Liam Hemsworth also shared a photo of the end result. It's a more grown up style and shape, and the angled bob frames her pretty face, playing up her features.
She could shave her head and still look stunning, but this shorter, more golden look is flattering for her.
