After she completed her domination of the music world with six Grammy Awards in 2012, Adele moved into a huge estate in the English countryside.

The red brick mansion contains 10 bedrooms, multiple swimming pools, acres of lush gardens, a dressing room with a bathtub next to a fireplace, and even a helicopter landing pad.

That's quite a step up for a girl who grew up in a series of modest London apartments with her mother.

The singer gave Anderson Cooper a tour of the place last year, telling the host, "This is just safety, this house." Although it's apparently a rental home, the remote location gives her plenty of security from the paparazzi, who have been hounding her since she made it big.
