YouTube darlings Karmin are back with a new cover of Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass,' and this time they brought along Questlove and Owen from the Roots.

Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan reinvent the hip-hop song as a keyboard-and-acoustic guitar pop tune. Noonan plays keys and sings harmony, while Heidemann, with her ever-present (and increasingly creepy) wide-eyed grin, capably mimics Minaj's rapping and singing.

As the chorus hits, the camera pans back to reveal Roots members Questlove on drum pads and Owen Biddle on bass. It's a fun cover, and the celebrity cameo has us imagining what might be next for the Boston duo. Perhaps they can create a regular series of collaboration videos, like Daryl Hall's Live From Daryl's House?

Karmin have been posting covers and originals on YouTube since late last year but really exploded in popularity with the Chris Brown cover 'Look At Me Now,' which revealed Amy's lightning-quick rhyming ability. Their most recent hip-hop re-creation was Lil Wayne's '6 Foot 7 Foot.'
