Rachel Crow sang an altered version of Katrina and the Waves' '80s hit 'Walking on Sunshine' on tonight's Top 12 edition of 'X Factor,' impressing all four of the show's judges.

After receiving some coaching from her mentor Simon Cowell, the curly haired 13-year-old cutie pie said, "I'm gonna go out there and own the stage and I'm hoping that America likes it."

Dressed in a red ringleader jacket and surrounded by a number of dancers, Crow sang 'Sunshine' with the confidence and vocal maturity of a performer twice her age. The only strange part of the charismatic teen's performance was the altering of the lyrics to 'You're My Sunshine' instead of 'Walking on Sunshine.'

Judge Nicole Scherzinger told Crow, "Rachel, you are America's sunshine," and added that she reminded her of a young Michael Jackson. Scherzinger did object to the lyric change, saying it was not necessary.

Simon Cowell defended the lyric change, explaining that it was being "inventive." He also praised Crow, saying "This girl's gonna be around for a long, long time."
