Swedish pop singer Robyn is a contender for two awards at the 2012 Grammys for 'Body Talk Pt. 3,' her final album in the successful 'Body Talk' series. Dance music's underdog indie queen told MTV during a break from 'Saturday Night Live' rehearsals that she wasn't expecting the recognition from the Recording Academy.

"I'm excited about the fact that I'm on this show ['SNL'] and the fact that I've been Grammy-nominated two times for this last part of 'Body Talk' at a point where I'm like, 'I thought I was done with this album,'" she said. "I did my last show at the Hollywood Bowl a month ago, and I didn't expect to still be working and promoting this piece of music, so I'm very excited to end the year in this way."

'Body Talk Pt. 3' is up for Best Dance/Electronica Album and the single 'Call Your Girlfriend' is a nominee for Best Dance Recording. In both categories, Robyn is competing exclusively against electronic artists like David Guetta, Duck Sauce and deadmau5.

"I was surprised that I was nominated for two," she added. "That's a really nice thing for me. Whether I win or not [is] not the important thing. It's about being nominated and being in that group of people that gets the chance to win it. So, I'm cool."

Robyn was nominated for Best Dance Recording at last year's Grammys for 'Dancing On My Own,' which lost to Rihanna's 'Only Girl (in the World).'
