Singing ‘…Baby One More Time’ Will Spare You From The Zombie Apocalypse

Forget what you've heard about surviving a potential zombie apocalypse—following the rats will lead to nowhere, and trying to pick the monsters off from a distance can only spare you for so long. To make it out alive, there's only a single strategy that's proven to do the trick: Sing Britney Spears to—and eventually with—the undead.

In a sneak peek of the forthcoming Scouts Guide to The Zombie Apocalypse, which follows three scouts as they try to save their town from a looming zombie disaster, the guys encounter a lone monster outside of an empty truck. They consider trying to kill him off or run away, but when a particularly astute representative of the team notices Brit Brit emblazoned on the demon's shirt, he decides to pull out the big guns.

In other words: on-the-spot "...Baby One More Time" karaoke.

Yes, where cloves of garlic or silver bullets were once believed to be the best defense against beasts, a little Britney circa 1998 quickly proves to be the gang's most powerful weapon. Soon, the zombie himself joins in, and if we didn't know any better, we'd say we were at a select Piece of Me show at Planet Hollywood in Vegas.
