When the ball drops on New Year's Day, so will T.I.'s mixtape 'F--- da City Up.' The Atlanta rapper recently unveil the cover for his mixtape, which we hope won't be indicative of his music.

The illustrated cover features a mass destruction of cars, buses and buildings in downtown Atlanta. In the middle of the artwork, a high-rise tower is exploding as a result of a bomb attack.

We have to assume that T.I. is being literal with his cover as the title of the mixtape is called 'F--- da City Up.' We are not hating on the artwork and it's quite different from the usual standard mixtape covers of a rapper posing and mean-mugging in the picture. In addition to the cover art, Tip released a third trailer for his mixtape project. The clip features fellow rapper Young Jeezy in the studio rapping on the title track.

As we previously reported, T.I. was recently in the studio with legendary producer Dr. Dre. Tip said he and Dre were creating 'chemistry' in the studio to see if they can come up with something hot for the streets. “Of course we can get together, he got hot beats and I got dope rhymes, so we can always get together and make music,” he explains. “But for people to feel what we’re sayin’ and for it to sound like a party comin’ through your speakers, you gonna have to create some chemistry. So that’s what we spent more time doin’ than anything else; developing that chemistry.”

We'll find out if their chemistry is the winning formula when 'F--- da City Up' arrives on Jan. 1, 2012.
