Pharrell Williams

Equally successful on stage and behind the scenes, the multitalented Pharrell Williams has lent his musical chops and undeniable ear to many of the biggest hip-hop and R&B tracks of the last two decades. Born in Virginia Beach, Va., in 1973, the artist and producer has accrued seven Grammy Awards for his work with artists such as Justin Timberlake ('Justified'), Daft Punk ('Get Lucky') and Robin Thicke ('Blurred Lines'). His credits read like a who's who of the music industry, including Madonna, 'N Sync, No Doubt, Usher, Jay-Z and Miley Cyrus, among many more. As half of the production team the Neptunes, Pharrell first hit it big with Britney Spears' 'I’m a Slave 4 U' in 2001. As a singer-songwriter and rapper, he fronts the funk-rock band N*E*R*D as well as engaging in a solo career. He followed up his 2006 debut solo album 'In My Mind' eight years later with 'Girl.'
