The Shields Brothers may have been eliminated on 'The Voice,' but they don't harbor any ill will toward their former coach, Cee Lo Green. In fact, they pay tribute to the eccentric singer via a new cover of his massive hit, 'Forget You.'

"Cee Lo Green turns his chair for us on NBC's 'The Voice' and we are very grateful for the amazing opportunity," the brothers wrote on their YouTube page. "We want to say thanks by covering one of his songs."

The brothers launched in a rock 'n' roll rendition of 'Forget You' that does the original justice. It's different enough to avoid distinct comparisons to the soulful original, but true enough to the source material that the feeling behind the song still comes through -- albeit with a bit of the brothers' signature goofy humor.

The clip opens with the brothers looking coolly (think 'Blue Steel') into the camera, petting a tiny stuffed cat symbolic of Mr. Purrfect. The Rixeyville, Va. natives were determined to "punch America in the face" with rock 'n' roll, and this cover delivers. It has guitars, cymbals, multiple outfit changes (for real, where do we get that purple motorcycle jacket?) and raw talent.

While their competition in the battle round, Erin Martin, is a great singer and easy on the eyes, creative reworkings like this one lead us to believe that the Shields Brothers may have been robbed.
