To celebrate the release of 'Fortune,' which dropped yesterday (July 3), the always controversial Chris Brown was the subject of his own BET mini-doc, dubbed 'Defining Moments.' Since BET has been a major part of his growth as an artist from a teen to a young man, he takes viewers through a guided tour of his history with the network, especially with the '106 and Park' show.

It's a walk down memory lane, with the most enjoyable moments being those of young, innocent, dancin' Breezy, before his life became a magnet for drama.

The video bio special pits vintage footage of the baggy hoodie and jeans wearing novice making his BET debut with clips of him narrating in the present, in glasses and bling, offering hindsight commentary. My, how he's grown, in size and in style, in 'Fame' and in 'Fortune.'

Easy Breezy talks about dancing at cookouts and therefore not having any knowledge of choreography on his BET debut. He even joked that he told his mom that he looked "ugly" as he grimaces at early footage. But he has a sense of humor about it. We don't see that too often, as Brown is so famously hotheaded.

Breezy also recounts his BET Awards performances, like his sexy, dance-filled routine with Ciara during his second stint. That perf was hard (no pun intended) because he was 18 and his hormones were raging.

His infamous and histrionic Michael Jackson tribute, the one where he was emotional and broke down in sobs onstage, earning criticism for being overly demonstrative, is a bit glossed over. He cops to having studied the King of Pop's moves for three nights straight, memorizing everything from arm to foot movements.

Breezy also recalls his work in 'Takers,' which he enjoyed because he did his own stunts, demonstrating his acting and athletics, too.

If you want a Breezy sizzle reel, of his interviews, outfits and moments with BET, here it is. Wonder if Rihanna is watching…
