Guess what?! NBC has given 'Saturday Night Live' fans the fun task of helping to choose musical guests for the upcoming season of the sketch comedy series -- a smart idea after the Lana Del Rey debacle last year. Let the people choose what they want to see! We're interested to see who will end up getting the coveted performance slots, but for now, we've chosen 20+ artists who have new material on the way/have been blowing up these past few months for you to vote on! Which one of the following entertainers would you like to see grace the 'SNL' stage?

First up, we've got rappers 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky, the former of which released his chart-topping debut album in 2012, while the latter is sure to follow in those footsteps when his first LP impacts in Oct. 2012. Adam Lambert is also in the running, since 'Never Close Our Eyes' would be insane live! 'Windows Down' quartet Big Time Rush would make for energetic 'SNL' guests, as would 'Call Me Maybe' singer Carly Rae Jepsen, whose album just dropped on Sept. 18. The same goes for vocal powerhouse Christina Aguilera, who will drop 'Lotus' this November, as well as British 'Sticks and Stones' spitfire Cher Lloyd! And even though he released his most current album back in June 2012, Chris Brown always puts on an entertaining show with his unreal dance moves.

Demi Lovato is also on the list thanks to her massive 2012 single 'Give Your Heart a Break,' while 'Lights' lady Ellie Goulding is also in the running, since she will be releasing her second album in October. Pop-rock bands fun. and Imagine Dragons are also included in our potential 'SNL' performers poll, as is 'Believe' superstar Justin Bieber, Kesha (who will release her new single 'Die Young' in Oct. 2012), 'ARTPOP' mastermind Lady Gaga, 'Overexposed' chart toppers Maroon 5, rapper Nicki Minaj (who will drop her 'Re-Up' album in 2012) and uber cute boy band One Direction.

Pink and No Doubt are also dropping new albums in Sept. 2012, and their comebacks would be solidified by an awesome 'SNL' performance. Finally, we've got 'God Forgives, I Don't' rhyme slinger Rick Ross the Bawse, 'Cockiness' songstress Rihanna (she's got yet another LP on the way in 2012), Taylor Swift, whose album 'Red' will close out 2012 with a bang for the country-pop sweetheart, and fun-loving 'I Found You' quintet the Wanted.

Who do you want to see on the 'SNL' stage? Vote for your favorite artist once per hour!
