Wiz Khalifa is still making plenty of noise this summer outside of his gold-selling album 'Rolling Papers.' The Pittsburgh rhyme-spitter formed a rap supergroup that consists of Curren$y, Big Sean and himself.

The rap trio was unveiled recently when Wiz released five smoked-out anthems ('O.T.T.R,' 'Weed Brownies,' 'Dot Dot Dot,' 'Flowers' and 'Proceed') by way of the Internet, which garnered positive reviews by their fans. You can check out what PopCrush thought of 'Proceed,' right here.

The free songs have sparked rumors that a mixtape with the three emcees was on the way. Not so, according to Wiz. "It's always fun to be in the position where we could make music that sells to people, videos that people enjoy, and still just drop free music that we feel like is just good stuff," he says.

"At the end of the day, we weren't hearing anything like what we make and I felt like it was time for that," Wiz continues. "Me and Spitta, we talk all of the time, and it was just a thing where he called me and he was like, 'Yo, we need to do something,' and I was like, 'Yeah, we should do something. We should do this,' and he was like, 'Perfect.'"

We are sad to hear that this was just a one-off release, but Wizzy is confident that he could bring Curren$y and Sean together again for another major project. "We've done [it] before, so if we [do] it again, we would just be doing it over," he says. "We wanted to do something new, add that new element, and it ended up being real fun."
