Wiz Khalifa to Embark on ‘Green Carpet’ Tour in April

Roll out the green carpet, because 'Black and Yellow' rapper Wiz Khalifa is rolling up. Khalifa will embark on the eighth installment of the Campus Consciousness Tour, produced by Pretty Polly Productions in conjunction with the non-profit organization Reverb.

The always colorful Pittsburgh rapper is being literal about the "green" when it comes to this tour, which promotes eco-friendliness and environmental sustainability. Khalifa has committed to powering his tour bus with biodiesel fuel as well as adopting both biodegradable and recyclable products backstage. Khalifa's love affair with the "other" green stuff is well-documented but it's a pleasure to see that he is also concerned about the environment, as well.

Khalifa's album, 'Rolling Papers,' will hit retail on Mar. 29.
