Since Wiz Khalifa is not getting married, we recently found out that he's in the studio working on his second album. Although his gold-selling debut LP 'Rolling Papers' was released just six months ago, the 'Roll Up' rhyme-slinger is crafting song ideas for the follow-up.

"Yeah, I've started working on a next album just to get a feel for where I'm going with it," Wiz told MTV. He wouldn't elaborate further on what type of tracks he's bringing to the new project, but you can be assured that it will have some smoked-out joints on it.

In the meantime, he's also working on Taylor Gang member Chevy Wood's mixtape called 'The Cookout.' "It's gonna be coming out in early September, so anybody who wants to hear some new raps from me, they can go get that," Wiz says. "And, of course, Chevy is gonna kill it and do his thing. It's gonna be real fun." You can see Wiz, Woods and the rest of the Taylor Gang posing in black and white for a fashion spread in New York Times' Style magazine.

And if that's not enough, Wiz secured nine nominations for the upcoming BET Hip-Hop Awards including CD of the Year for 'Rolling Papers.' It would be a feather in the rapper's baseball cap if he wins the CD of the Year trophy. BET will air the Hip-Hop Awards on Oct. 11 at 8PM ET.
