Wiz Khalifa is probably breathing a sigh of relief after hearing this piece of good news. A North Carolina district attorney has thrown out several drug charges against the rhyme-slinger due to a lack of evidence.

The Daily Reflector reports that the 'Roll Up' rhyme-spitter was arrested and charged on Nov. 8 with trafficking marijuana, maintaining a place for sale of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found drugs on his tour bus following a show on the campus of East Carolina University. According to District Attorney Clark Everett, authorities found 58 grams, or slightly more than two ounces, which didn't exceed the 10-pound threshold for a trafficking charge.

Everett said all additional charges against Khalifa and six others with him were dismissed when three of the men admitted the marijuana was theirs and pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession during an Aug. 11 hearing. Each of the three paid a $1,000 fine and court costs.

In other good news, Khalifa secured nine mentions for the upcoming BET Hip-Hop Awards, including MVP of the Year, CD of the Year ('Rolling Papers') and Best Hip-Hop Style. Funnyman Mike Epps will host this year's event, which will air on Oct. 11 at 8PM ET.
