Beyonce is returning to the big screen! Blue Ivy's mama has reportedly signed on with Sony Pictures for a film a project that will be written, produced and directed by 'Glee' co-creator Ryan Murphy (who is also recruiting 'Glee' collaborators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan for the script).

According to Deadline, Beyonce is one of the many stars set to appear in 'One Hit Wonders,' a film that is about "three singers who each scored a top hit song in the '90s before watching their careers go down the drain." The three singers in question will reportedly be played by Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz.

Deadline didn't really include much incite as to what Bey's role in 'One Hit Wonders' will be, just that she is set to act in the film alongside Paltrow (who is also producing the movie with Ryan Murphy), Witherspoon, Diaz and 'SNL' star/Lonely Island frontman Andy Samberg.

The Lonely Island will actually play a role in the film, as the aforementioned one hit wonders "decide to form a super group, [and] Samberg and his Lonely Island cohorts will be involved in generating music for the film."

Beyonce should have no trouble fitting in what seems to be a musical comedy. She has already acted as the leading lady in the remake of 'Dreamgirls' and in the musically-driven biopic 'Cadillac Records.' Additionally, Bey exercised her funny bone playing Foxy Cleopatra in the third installment of the 'Austin Powers' franchise.
