Charice Performs at ‘David Foster and Friends’ Concert
On Oct. 1, Filipina powerhouse Charice performed at the 'David Foster and Friends' concert at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The concert was set up in order to honor the career of Canadian music icon David Foster, who has established himself as an accomplished songwriter, singer, composer, producer and every other music-related profession that is imaginable.
Foster actually launched Charice's (along with artists like Michael Buble and Josh Groban) musical career after Oprah Winfrey reached out to the music legend to see what he could to help Charice. This was only after Charice blew away Oprah with her performance of Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing' on the TV personality's talk show. Foster has also worked with superstars like Madonna and Michael Jackson in the past.
At the 'David Foster and Friends' concert, Charice performed epic tracks like Toni Braxton's 'Unbreak My Heart' and Michael Jackson's 'Earth Song,' with Foster accompanying the young singer on piano. In addition to Charice, who wore red pumps, sparkly pants and a black blazer, Donna Summer, Kenny Loggins, and Ruben Studdard performed as well.
