Former 'Glee' star and Filipina sensation Charice graces the cover of the January 2012 issue of Preview, which prides itself as the style bible of the Philippines. The teen is fashion-forward, sporting bright orange lips, blunt bangs, a white geometric outfit. She's surrounded by headlines like "Over 263 Designers Who Matter" and "Super Size Me," the latter of which pinpoints how to wear oversized clothing. Layering is all the rage, right? Well, there's also an outrage over this cover, which has come under fire for being Photoshopped. Ut oh!
Police have learned that Charice's estranged father, 40-year-old Ricky Pempengco, has been murdered in her hometown of Laguna in the Philippines. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Police Senior Supt. Gilbert Cruz said that Charice's father was stabbed on Monday night while shopping at a store in San Pedro township.
Charice has dropped the new video for 'Louder,' which appears on her recently released sophomore album 'Infinity.' The video -- which premiered on the Japanese television channel Space Shower TV -- has less going on than her previous clip for 'One Day,' with Charice acting as the main player of the 'Louder' video rather than having a huge cast.
On Oct. 1, Filipina powerhouse Charice performed at the 'David Foster and Friends' concert at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The concert was set up in order to honor the career of Canadian music icon David Foster, who has established himself as an accomplished songwriter, singer, composer, producer and every other music-related profession that is imaginable.
