Cheesa told her coach Cee Lo that she sees her career going in a diva-esque direction. Therefore it made complete and total sense that the singer chose 'I Have Nothing,' which is the ultimate diva ballad by the late, great, immortal Whitney Houston, for tonight's (April 23) quarterfinal performance on 'The Voice.'

Cheesa performed the song standing the entire time in front of her mic, dressed in a black, full-skirted, princess-like dress that looked silvery under the lights. The look was glam, thanks to her stick-straight, glossy locks. She gave off a belle of the ball vibe in the staging and costuming. She looked every inch the diva with a capital "D," but did she sound it? Um, yes!

Christina Aguilera applauded Cheesa for her courage to attempt a Whitney tune, saying she still managed to give it her own spin, which ain't easy. Whit's voice reached the heavens, and something tells us that maybe, just maybe, Houston heard Cheesa up in heaven.

Cheesa's coach was beaming, saying that she was exceptional both in her look and her performance. She really filled the room with that booming voice of hers.

It was enough to have Aguilera declare that tonight was all about Team Cee Lo in a bit of a diss to Adam Levine.

It's getting ugly on that coach's panel right now.
