CMT has revealed that the network has enlisted John Legend and Lee Ann Womack for an all-new episode of 'CMT Crossroads,' the television series that pairs country artists with musicians of other genres.

The concert will be shot in Franklin, Tenn. and will premiere on Friday, Sept. 26. This will be the first collaboration between the two music stars.

"Having John and Lee Ann join us on 'CMT Crossroads' is going to be an incredible pairing – they are both among the most respected singers in their genres,” says John Hamlin, the Senior VP of Music, Events and Talent, CMT. “This has all the makings of another classic 'Crossroads' collaboration.”

'Crossroads' premiered in 2002 and have showcased 42 cross-genre collaborations, including Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves, Brad Paisley and John Mayer, The Band Perry and Fall Out Boy, and Carrie Underwood with Steven Tyler.
