Skylar Grey Featured in Carmelo Anthony ‘Coming Home’ Knicks Commercial

Skylar Grey helps welcome basketball star Carmelo Anthony to New York City (sorry, Denver!) with her performance on the Diddy-Dirty Money song 'Coming Home,' which is featured in MSG's commercial promoting tonight's Knicks game. 

The quick spot starts with quotes from the recently acquired, Brooklyn-born Anthony about his love for New York and the Knicks, then cuts to the delirious Madison Square Garden crowd yelling "Melo! Melo!" during his first game with the team the other night.

Throughout both scenes, Grey's haunting vocals sing, appropriately, of a homecoming: "I'm coming home / I'm coming home / Tell the world I'm coming home / Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday / I'm coming home."

The song appears on P. Diddy's Diddy-Dirty Money album 'Last Train to Paris.' If you're more of a music than a sports fan, you can also catch Skylar Grey appearing as a ghostly apparition in the new Dr. Dre video, 'I Need a Doctor.'
