Backstreet Boys

The best-selling boy band in history, the Backstreet Boys became superstars in the '90s and are still going strong. Formed in Orlando, Fla., in 1993, BSB consists of A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell. Their self-titled debut U.S. album was released in 1997 and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Hits including 'Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)' and 'As Long as You Love Me' led to the album's eventually being certified an amazing 14-times platinum. Their next full-length release, 1999’s 'Millennium,' featuring the worldwide smash single 'I Want It That Way,' nearly equaled the feat, at 13-times platinum. Richardson left the group in 2006, while the group went on to record two albums without him. He returned to the fold in 2012, in time to celebrate BSB's 20th anniversary.
