Tote – 2013 SXSW Survival Guide

If you're wearing layers to SXSW like we recommended, you'll want a bag to toss a jacket into if you get too warm. Aside from that, you're going to want a place to store merch, a wallet, a water bottle and anything else you can think of bringing or picking up. Because let's be honest: you don't have that much room in your pockets, do you?

With a tote -- as opposed to a clutch or the like -- you can just toss it on your shoulder and keep dancing without worrying about leaving it somewhere.

And guys, if you don't want a tote bag, don't get all huffy: backpacks work too, they're just more annoying to open and close.
