50 Cent is going back to where it all started in his career -- the mixtapes. The rapper plans to release 10-song EP to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of 2002 mixtape '50 Cent Is the Future.'

Fiddy went on his Twitter page on Sunday (Nov. 27) to announce his ambitious project. "Its been 10 years since I put out 50 Cent is the future," he tweeted. "So I'm putting out the BIG 10 next week 10 smoking hot tracks."

No word on what songs will appear on the "Big 10" since fans have been waiting patiently for his fifth studio album. 50 also plans to drop accompanying videos to each track from the EP. "I'm shooting videos for every song on the tape," he tweeted. "The BIG 10 I got something for a haters a--- it called hits lol."

50 Cent's newest project coincides with his upcoming appearance on five different covers for XXL magazine's year-end issue. In the magazine, the rap mogul questions the state of rap music, which he feels has lost its edge. “I don’t see what I fell in love with,” he says. “So now I gotta make music that reflects what N.W.A made. I have to make music that has the moments that Nas had. I have to make music that has what Biggie offered.”

So there you have it, 50 Cent is about to bring the ruckus to the rap game. We can hardly wait.
