On tonight's 'American Idol,' Haley Reinhart and her room-filling voice went the classic rock route, singing Led Zeppelin's 'What Is and What Should Never Be.' Beyonce, in the pre-performance mentoring session, said she loves the warmth present in Reinhart's raspy voice as well as her tone.

Reinhart infused this classic rock gem with a bluesy, almost loungey sultriness. Reinhart's edginess shone through but she did struggle with a few of the notes in the middle of the song. She also stumbled in her heels, but she kept on going. She also performed with her dad, who played guitar.

Despite the mixed message critiques she received from the judges last week -- hello, Randy Jackson  -- Reinhart was the recipient of a standing ovation from Jackson himself. "This girl is slaying it," he said. "You are fearless."

Steven Tyler noticed the Illinois native go off balance, asked if Reinhart fell for him, and also stated that how many times you get back up is more important than how many times you fall.

Jennifer Lopez
acknowledged that she took a tough song and sang it "really great." J Lo also pointed out how the power went out during her own weekend performance but that a true professional will shrug it off and keep pace, which is what she did and what Reinhart did.

As the first round closed, the judges unanimously said that Reinhart took it with the most impressive performance.
