Ashley De La Rosa and Jonathas from Team Christina Aguilera dueted on 'No Air' by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown on tonight's (March 19) battle round of 'The Voice.' De La Rosa, who revealed she loves doing charity work, was incredibly nervous about hitting the song's higher notes, while young father Jonathas wasn't, since he had more experience.

Mentor Lionel Richie worked with Jonathas, who said he is a natural fit for a smoov like buttah R&B song in the Usher/Breezy genre. Jewel worked with De La Rosa, who was intimidated, visibly so, by Jonathas' power and his experience.

We'll give the judges credit, since they did not make it easy on themselves with their pairings. They were truly pitting talent against talent and had to make agonizing choices as a result. When rehearsing, Xtina doled out tons of advice, suggesting how to use their bodies when performing. It was clear she would have a mega hard choice to make.

The hopefuls took Aguilera's advice, exhibiting intense physical chemistry. It was well staged and there was a level of comfort between them. De La Rosa was adorable in a strapless magenta dress, while Jonathas was every inch the rocker in his all black ensemble, with his vest (which looked like it was made out of a trash bag, albeit a cool trash bag), sleeves of tattoos and his spiky hair. De La Rosa came to life but was a bit pitchy, while Jonathas was dreamy and creamy, vocally speaking.

They brought heat and it felt like someone sucked the air out of the room -- so there was literally 'No Air.'

Aguilera's three competing judges though Ashley De La Rosa took the round. However, the decision was hers. Turns out she agreed with them. ADLR moves on to the next round.
