What do you know about the Dirty South? The city of Atlanta has been the hotbed for musical talent since the early '90s. If you sing, rap or produce music, the ATL is the place to go to develop your craft.

Atlanta is also the home of some of your favorite R&B and hip-hop acts. Artists like Usher, CiaraT.I. and more have held it down for their beloved city. Additionally, heavyweights like Jermaine Dupri have turned Atlanta into their own musical Motown.

In honor of the Georgia Peach, PopCrush presents 10 R&B and hip-hop artists who helped solidify the foundation of the southern music scene. Celebrate the city of Atlanta's everlasting musical history with us as we count down.
