Cobra Starship, ‘#1Nite’ Feat. Ryan Tedder

Ready to get your dance on? Cobra Starship has got your back. The group is shaking things up with a brand new dance single, '#1Nite,' which has added flavor thanks to OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder.

"We in the spot right now / Che-checking it out / Packed from wall to wall, it's going down," lead singer Gabe Saporta sings, promising a good time from the song's opening line.

It's not long before things really start to pump, as Tedder chimes in on the chorus. "Cause tomorrow morning we'll be leaving / So right now you better jump right in / Tomorrow mornin’ well be leaving / Let’s keep it rockin’ til daylight / Gotta live like we’ve got one life, one life, one life / Gotta live like we got one night, one night, one night," the pair belt enthusiastically.

Tedder's influence is obvious, and this track is undoubtedly meant to get your booty shaking in the club, but we don't think it's one we'd request with the DJ ... At least not until after 1AM. Sure, dance tracks aren't known for their lyrics, but Tedder is -- and we think he and Cobra Starship can do better than this.

'#1Nite' appears on the Starship's upcoming new album, 'Night Shades,' out Aug. 30.
