On Oct. 24, Q magazine held their annual Q Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, England. Several British pop acts received awards at the show, including Coldplay, Adele, Jessie J and Tinie Tempah.

At the show, Coldplay won for Best Act in the World Today, wearing colorful outfits as they accepted the trophy. Three of the band members were present -- drummer Will Champion was absent from the show. Adele also won big, winning in two categories for Best Female and Best Track for her No. 1 single 'Rolling in the Deep.' Although the beautiful and loveable chanteuse won big at the Q Awards, she was "terribly sad" that she had to cancel her scheduled performance at the last minute due to doctor's orders -- the singer has been struggling with upper respiratory problems for a while now.

Jessie J also snagged a Q Award for Best Video thanks to her gender-bending clip for the sassy song 'Do It Like a Dude.' The songstress wore a black jumpsuit with cutouts to the show, and she even got to pose for a few pics with Oasis member Noel Gallagher. Rapper Tinie Tempah, who was dressed in a black blazer and T-shirt, also picked up an award for Best Male.

Scroll through these red carpet and press room pictures from the 2011 Q Awards -- what do you think of Jessie J's outfit? How about the guys from Coldplay? Do you think anybody was gypped out of an award, or do you think all of the winners deserved to be distinguished?
