Nearly 14 years after its release, the Destiny's Child single 'Say My Name' still holds up as one of the best throwback jams ever! The then-quartet (now-trio) championed over TLC's 'Waterfalls' with their harmonious, Grammy-winning hit, taking the latest Throwback Thursday win with more than 58% of the fan votes. Congrats to the R&B divas and the readers who participated!

For this week's Throwback Thursday challenge, Destiny's Child are taking another R&B team of songstresses, Monica and Brandy. 'Say My Name' will take on the 1998 chart-topper 'The Boy Is Mine' in a challenge to see which "boyfriend-turned-cheater" tune will come out on top.

On 1999's 'Say My Name,' Destiny's Child harmonize over a sleek combo of prominent 808 percussion, synthed-out strings, and funky, distorted guitars. The ladies of D.C. still blow us away with their vocals, especially Beyonce, who takes the lead on the verses before the speedy bridge kicks in, as all of the members back her up while singing about a two-timing man: "Cause I know how you usually do / When you say everything to me times two / Why can't you just tell the truth / If somebody's there then tell me who."

Meanwhile, Brandy and Monica are having their own man problems on 'The Boy Is Mine,' a track sung from the perspectives of two women who are romantically involved with (and fighting over) the same guy. The combination of Brandy's gravelly, higher-pitched and nasally vocals with Monica's smooth and deeper vocals is like a match made in heaven (so much so that the girls teamed up again in 2012 on 'It All Belongs to Me'). The R&B songstresses take turns on the verses before joining forces on the chorus, as they sing-brawl, "You need to give it up / Had about enough / It's not hard to see / The boy is mine / I'm sorry that you / Seem to be confused / He belongs to me / The boy is mine."

So, which song gets your vote for ultimate throwback jam this week? Vote for either 'Say My Name' by Destiny's Child, or 'The Boy Is Mine' by Monica and Brandy below, and remember you can vote once per hour until the poll closes on April 17 at 11:59 PM ET.

Rules of Throwback Thursdays: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a different Throwback Thursday challenger the following week. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, they will be retired into the Throwback Thursdays Hall of Fame in order to give others a chance to compete.
