Contrary to gossip reports, Drake did not get married to a woman he met on Twitter. In a recent interview with U.K.'s KISS FM, Drizzy squashed those rumors while talking about 'R.I.P.' (featuring Tinie Tempah), a song he penned for Rita Ora, which is garnering plenty of radio buzz at the moment.

“One of the greatest gifts I ever received in my whole life -- I wear it every day -- is this ring right here," Drake explains while showing off the gold-plated ring with a black ruby gemstone. "They tried to talk about this ring the other day and say I got married to somebody, which I didn’t. Rita actually gave me this ring. We’re dear friends. ‘R.I.P.’ is a song that I originally wrote for Rihanna [and she] actually didn’t take the song … Rita expressed interest in it and anything I can do for Rita, I will do.”

Well, there you have it -- Drake is a single guy.

Elsewhere in the interview, Drake gave props to his fellow Canuck Justin Bieber on dropping his new song, 'Boyfriend.' "I heard his single ['Boyfriend'] the other day. I’m really proud of him," he says. "It sounds like a growth."

Drake is currently on his promo tour in the U.K. for his latest album 'Take Care.' In May, the 'Motto' rapper will embark on the second leg of his Club Paradise Tour with chart-topping rappers J.Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, French Montana and 2 Chainz as the opening acts. The 27-city jaunt kicks off May 7 in Concord, Calif., and ends June 17 in Boston, Mass.
