Ed Westwick’s Sexual Assault Case Under Review by District Attorney’s Office
The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office is officially reviewing an allegation that Ed Westwick raped actress Kristina Cohen in 2014.
Us Weekly confirmed that "the case was submitted by the Los Angeles Police Department on Tuesday, March 20, and is currently under review." Cohen first filed the claim with the Los Angeles Police Department in November.
In a Facebook post the actress also posted in November, Cohen described a night in 2014 during which she and her boyfriend went to Westwick's house for dinner. She then claimed that Westwick was acting strangely and asked the couple if they'd consider having group sex.
When Cohen got tired, she took a rest on a bed in the house, and said that when she woke up, Westwick had begun assaulting her.
Cohen said Westwick was suddenly "on top of me, his fingers entering my body. I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f--- me. I was paralyzed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me."
Stylist Haley Camille Freedman has since also come forward to allege that Westwick basically turned her into a weekend-long sex slave in 2014.
Westwick has denied Cohen's initial allegation, tweeting: “I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.”
