Emma Watson's status as one of Hollywood's most passionate feminists is hardly a secret. On Sunday (March 4), the actress shared her message for gender equality on her sleeve—or rather, on her arm—loud and clear with a Time's Up tattoo.

Appearing at the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party in Beverly Hills last night, the Beauty and the Beast star sported ink that read "Times Up" in a flowery, curly script.

Though Watson's core feminist message is no accessory, People reports that the tattoo itself was likely a temporary design.

Watson, whose best-known onscreen role is that of bookish and brave Harry Potter heroine Hermione Granger, has been an active advocate for women's rights since around 2014, when she visited Bangladesh and Zambia in order to promote education for girls. The same year, she was appointed as a UN Women Goodwill ambassador; soon after, she launched her HeForShe campaign, calling for men to advocate for gender equality.

In 2016, the actress launched Our Shared Shelf, a feminist Goodreads book club aimed to promote feminist literature.

At the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 7, 2018, Watson brought Marai Larasi, an activist whose work focuses on the issue of violence against women, as her guest to the ceremony.
