Fergie Talks Upcoming Collaboration With Nicki Minaj [VIDEO]

During her radio interview with Ebro in the Morning on Hot 97, Fergie revealed some exciting news. It looks like she and Nicki Minaj are teaming up for an unexpected collaboration.

The announcement came after she was asked about the competition that’s pretty much taken over the game since Fergie’s six-year-long hiatus from the music world. Although she could have, Fergie didn’t fire any shots. Remaining diplomatic she said: "Healthy competition, there's nothing wrong with that,” when asked about fellow female MCs Nicki and Iggy Azalea. "That's normal. That's just like flirting. It's a normal human thing. It's healthy.”

The best way to divert the competition question? Talking about about her upcoming collaboration with Nicki -- a snippet of which she had stored on her phone, but couldn't play during the interview.

There’s no word yet as to when Fergie’s highly anticipated album will be released — other than the ever so vague "beginning of next year" — but we’re definitely excited!
