Fifth Harmony Cancel NHL All-Star Performance After Dinah Jane Reportedly Falls Ill, Put on Stretcher
Update: Fifth Harmony would like you to know they did, in the parlance of Big Sean, "bounce back" from this past weekend's events...or at the very least, that they're in the studio working on new music — like that promised third album, perhaps?
Original post: Harmonizers hoping to see Fifth Harmony perform together as a foursome for the one of the first time since their re-debut onstage at the People's Choice Awards earlier this month will have to wait a little bit longer — until they're all at full health.
While the "Work From Home" troupe was scheduled to perform at the NHL All-Star game this past Saturday (Jan. 28), TMZ reports that Dinah Jane "became sick and had to be treated by paramedics." Worse yet, she reportedly became so ill, she had to be carried out on a stretcher. Luckily, EMTs decided she did not require hospital treatment.
"The girls were prepping to sing the National Anthem at Saturday's game when Dinah fell physically ill. We're told someone from the dressing room asked for paramedics who put Dinah on a stretcher. Our sources say Dinah was evaluated by EMTs but the decision was ultimately made not to transport her to a hospital. We're told the foursome left the arena together."
A B. Scott blogger tweeted following the incident, claiming a source inside the venue said 5H attempted to perform the National Anthem several times before the game, but couldn't get through the song.
Footage has since surfaced of the group rehearsing their performance on Saturday.
We hope you're feeling better, Dinah!
