Forget Tickets: FYF Fest Will Stream Live on Twitter
This weekend, FYF Fest will become the first U.S. music festival to be live-streamed on Twitter. Though the festival takes place from July 21-23 in Los Angeles, fans who live too far or who find themselves without a ticket will be able to experience the music just as well. The stream, which will be presented by Toyota C-HR, will be live online from 6 p.m. to midnight on both Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23. Viewers will not need to have a Twitter login to access the stream.
The streamed footage will include, according to their press release, "live sets from festival performers, as well as interviews, crowd shots, and behind the scenes footage from the festival to give viewers the full FYF festival experience." Fans can access the stream at twitter.com/FYFFEST and via the festival Twitter handle @FYFFEST.
FYF's lineup this year includes A Tribe Called Quest, Iggy Pop, Angel Olsen, Mitski and Kehlani, among many others.
