Our K-pop queens are simply not feeling the Valentine's Day spirit this year, huh?

After 4minute came angrily crashing through with their Skrillex-produced comeback track "Hate," Girls' Generation star Taeyeon is back with another solo go-around — and she's feeling rather blue.

Only a few months after the release of her debut EP I, Taeyeon returns with a jazzy, melancholy slow jam. "With lyrics about longing for a past love, the song makes listeners enjoy the rainy day blues! Hope you enjoy her new single," her record label SMTown cheerfully describes the tune in the video's description.

When it rains, it pours, and Taeyeon's contemplative crooning (and filling of fishbowls) soon gives way to a rather waterlogged wonderland. And, hey, all that singing in front of an old-timey microphone — doesn't that remind you of another diva's own "Rain" video?

In any case, the song shows off Taeyeon's soothing vocal skills and provides a laidback soundtrack for getting a little nostalgic and remembering days gone by.

But seriously: If your house starts flooding like this, you need to call a plumber immediately.
