It's not the first time that the 'Glee' stars have felt some heat for showing skin -- but Lea Michele, who plays Rachel on the hit FOX show, is drawing flames following a recent sexy cover shoot for Cosmopolitan magazine.

Michele appears on the cover of a recent issue of the adult women's magazine donning a black-and-white dress with a super-plunging neckline -- a far cry from the GQ shoot where she and her co-star, Diana Agron (who plays Quinn), sported super sexy lingerie while pressing themselves up against the show's star quarterback in a high school hallway. Still, some parents are angry at the way the 'Glee' ladies have been portrayed. "It's irresponsible," as one parent told FOX, "to be using an adult who represents a minor dressed in provocative clothes."

As you can see by the photo, Michele's choice of dress is not terribly revealing, especially compared to the content behind the cover -- and afterall, Lea Michele is 24 -- a good six or seven years older than the high school television character she portrays.

Though Michele is best known for her role on 'Glee,' her Cosmo appearance is representing her true self -- not her teenage character -- lest parents need to be that 'Glee' is not a kids show, as it deals with serious issues that youngsters can't quite comprehend.

A spokeswoman for Hearst, the company that publishes Cosmopolitan, stepped in to comment on the issue on behalf of the ladies' magazine. "We're thrilled to feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan magazine and think she looks stunning," she said simply, adding, "Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine for adults."
