British duo Graffiti6 are hitting the road, opening for Ximena and Augustana on two separate tour stints throughout December and January, all leading up to the release of their debut effort, 'Colours,' which arrives on Jan. 24 in the U.S.

The pair -- singer-songwriter Jamie Scott and producer-songwriter Tommy D -- are opening for Latin singer Ximena in clubs right now, with the next show tonight in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. That trek includes a break for an appearance on Rachael Ray on Dec. 19.

In January and early February, Graffiti6 will support Augustana for three weeks in theater shows. The dates will be a great way for the duo to build up grassroots support as they release their first full-length major-label album after nearly four years of working together.

Scott has scored a handful of hits as a solo act in the U.K., so it will be interesting to see how audiences here respond to his new project, which blends pop, R&B and psychedelic styles. Graffiti6 have already released a video for 'Free,' which has gotten played on mtvU, and the song itself is earning spins on adult alternative stations.
