Hayley Kiyoko’s ‘Feelings’ Is Pop’s Cuffing Season Anthem
Fall is in tact and so is cuffing season.
Hayley Kiyoko continues to serve the LGBTQ+ community with her recent feel-good single (and music video), “Feelings.”
To say the track will get you “in your feels” is an understatement as the “Girls Like Girls” singer woos her way into a girl’s heart with her charm in the self-directed one-take music video.
"Caught up inside, both happy and lonely/Keep telling me lies, they're killing me slowly/I get too attached, they don't even know me/Why can't I relax? why can't I relax?" Kiyoko sings as she expresses the internal struggles of falling in love.
The new synth-pop bop follows her early release of "Sleepover" this year and her first EP under Atlantic Records, CITRINE. With "Feelings," Kiyoko continues to break the barriers of music today by pushing real life and relatable situations of the LGBTQ+ community onto her visuals and lyrics.
