Hilary Duff has been making the promotional rounds for her new single, 'All About You,' and her upcoming album. The latest round of press includes a response to Aaron Carter's infamous proclamation of his feelings for her and an acoustic performance of her latest song.

Buzzfeed recently met up with Hilary in Sydney, Australia, where they asked the question on everyone's minds: How does she feel about Aaron Carter's comments?

"I was not expecting this question," Hilary admitted. "He does ... I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that. I don’t know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I’m still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just … Yeah, don’t know each, so, yeah."

Fair response, especially given that Hilary wasn't prepared to talk about her former relationship with the singer.

However, Hilary almost shed tears in another interview -- this one with Scoopla. When asked about the last time she cried, the 'All About You' singer responded, "I just cried yesterday because I was talking to my kid on the phone. I know, and he said -- oh, my god, I might cry again -- he said, 'Make me proud, Mama!'"

Awww! In much, much lighter news, Hilary performed 'All About You' acoustically for Fifi & Dave. You can check it out in the video above!
